Noel Darvie’s passion for drawing and painting has been a lifelong pursuit. In 1971, after he was discharged from the Army, he began four years of formal training in figure drawing and painting at the Westchester Art Workshop, and completed an additional year training at the Art Students League. Noel’s initial interest in art was figurative painting. However, wanting to broaden his experience he started painting landscapes on location, working directly from nature (referred to as plein air painting). Though he does work from reference material in the studio, ninety five percent of his work is done in the field. Noel has exhibited his work in galleries on Long Island, Westchester, New Jersey and Texas. He is a “Signature and Advisory Board Member” of New York Plein Air Painters. Noel’s work can also be viewed on his website at www.NoelDarvie.com. We will be hosting a Meet and Greet on June 5th, 2 PM with the artist. Light refreshments will be served.
Please Note: We will be closed on Sunday July 3rd and Monday July 4th. Have a wonderful holiday! We apologize for the inconvenience.
