My Life in 5 Essays by Barry Dougherty with Appetizers and a Glass of Wine

Spend an entertaining and engaging evening with author and humor writer Barry Dougherty when he shares his funny, charming, witty, and thought-provoking essays and anecdotes. Barry has been the head writer for several legendary Friars Club Roasts such as Quentin Tarantino, Jack Black, and Betty White. His books include The Friars Club Encyclopedia of Jokes and How to Do It Standing Up. His essays and articles have appeared in the New York Times, Newsday and Antiques and the Arts Weekly. Lisa from Vines & Branches will be co-hosting this event with us and will be providing these 4 offerings during the intermissions:
- Cheese Tasting of 3 cheeses
- Salsa and Chips
- Fig Jam tartlets, Fig and Olive Palmiers
- Pistachio Cream Tartlets (Dessert)
